Angelia “Angie” completed her undergraduate work in Wilson, NC from Barton College and received her Master of Arts degree in 2013 from Argosy University in Alexandria Virginia. Angie is both a Licensed Professional Counselor in North Carolina and holds a certification as a National Certified Counselor from the National Board for Certified Counselors. Angie is also a Licensed Clinical Additions Specialist in North Carolina, currently providing supervision as a Certified Clinical Supervisor Intern (CCS-intern). Angie has been working in the field of mental health over 18 years with the past 4 years as a licensed clinician in a variety of settings including; community base programs, outpatient, and private practice. Angie works with children, adolescents, and adults in areas of transitions of life stressors, substance use concerns, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, grief and loss, and mood disorders and many more. Angie uses a multi-model approach including cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy with emphasis on individual strengths and needs.
