Ms. Jones holds a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University and is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, and a National Certified Counselor in the state of Georgia. Ms. Jones has worked in a variety of mental health settings; community mental health, inpatient hospitalization, detox, outpatient, substance abuse, and in private practice settings.

Ms. Jones specializes in treatment of depression, anxiety, and issues of personal growth and wellness; positive and adaptive methods of communication in relationships with others; issues related to grief and loss; and the development of a nurturing and supportive relationship with the self.

Believing in a holistic approach to counseling, Ms. Jones obtained training as a Reiki practitioner, and provides energy healing services as an additional service to her clients. She is also credentialed as a Prepare and Enrich facilitator, assisting couples in dating, premarital, and marriage relationship skills. During couples counseling an emphasis is placed on resolving conflict, establishing goals, strengthen communication, identify and manage stressors, and understand appreciate personality differences.

Ms. Jones is also certifed as a Clinical Trauma Professional and utilizes this training to help individuals with trauma related histories
