I am a native of Columbia, South Carolina. As the oldest of 6 children she has always
been seen as the “helper” in her family because of her passion for supporting others during difficult times. As a Counselor, I specialize in helping women and adolescent girls who are suffering from being fatherless, sexual trauma, losing a parent, spouse, or child, infertility struggles, academic and career stress, and being in a loveless marriage. My approach is to work together with clients to address the issues that bring them the greatest amount of fear. I help clients gain clarity about the source of their fears, and discover the reasons
for their unhealthy reactions to stress. I support clients when they choose to begin their
healing process, and help them identify ways to feel empowered to get through life challenges on
their own.

I am a National Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addictions Counselor in the State of South Carolina. I have more than 13 years of experience working as a mental health professional with youth and adults. I have extensive professional training in helping clients process their traumatic experiences, treating clients with Depression and Anxiety Disorders, Suicide Assessment and Prevention, Marriage Preparation, and Marriage Enrichment.
