For over twenty-five years, I have clinically worked with children, adolescents, and adults. My clinical focus is the emotionally frozen lives of adults. This emotional frozenness is suffering persistent life’s concerns. These concerns create a social and emotional loneliness. This loneliness mirrors a struggle a substance abuse history, emotional addictive behaviors, or a learning disability.I believe an individual need to gain wisdom of what is changeable and what is unchangeable in life and encourage the strength to change. My therapy blends solution-focused therapy, neuroscience, existential therapy, psychoanalytic theory and narrative therapy.Stories emerge out of the conversations between two individuals. Developing an awareness of these stories is the key to my interactions with an individual. This emphasis seeks to bring clarity to the hopes, fears and limits that create one’s personal story. With clarity comes a better manner of living.
