I desire to partner with those who suffer from emotional hurts and distress, or feel constrained by life transitions, frustrations, or relationship conflicts. We can work together to find hope and implement solutions toward mental wellness. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, or other difficulties, I am ready to come alongside to support and encourage you as you find the answers. We will strive together for your personal growth and well-being, building upon our therapeutic relationship while focusing on your strengths and abilities. I would love to meet you in either the Girard or Medina office.
I work with women and children who deal with mood disorders, substance abuse, trauma, life transitions, relationship problems, sexuality struggles, and behavioral issues. I take an eclectic approach and use various interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Christian CBT. We can implement spiritual and faith based practices, if desired.
I obtained a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling, High Distinction from Liberty University, and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I hold a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) license and Prepare/Enrich Facilitator certificate. I am member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and American Counseling Association.
