Hi! I’m Margaret Kenney, Wife, Mother, and Owner of Kenney Counseling Services, PLLC. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and Master Of Science in Counseling and Guidance from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Currently, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the state of Texas. I possess over ten years of experience working with teens and adults battling a host of diagnoses, from anxiety, depression, addictions, PTSD, adjustment disorders, and many more. I have also worked in numerous settings such as healthcare clinics, corrections, educational and residential settings to meet the needs of each client.

Treatment is centered on the understanding of each patients’ unique concerns, identifying individual strengths, and working with the Client to develop skills to overcome obstacles. During this process, I am sensitive, supportive, and solution-focused in offering therapeutic services. Each individual is so unique; therefore, I have an Eclectic style to engaging patients in therapy. My therapeutic method includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional disorders.
