Marissa Felder is a psychotherapist who works to restore mental and emotional health to her clients. She firmly believes people can change and enjoy life to the fullest. Marissa is one who has lived a life of change after experiencing success in the fields of music and education. In step with her purpose, over the past decade, Marissa has focused her attention toward helping people heal.
Marissa practices psychotherapy at The New Hope Mental Health Counseling Services. Along with being a New York State licensed mental health counselor, she is a nationally certified counselor and certified mental health integrative medicine provider. Marissa holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Phoenix and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Messiah College. Her main therapeutic approaches include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Person-Centered Therapy.
