Megan is the founder of Family First Counseling, a private counseling practice located in Arlington, TX committed to providing affordable and competent counseling services to its clients and the owner of Private Practice Revolution. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Texas (#64995). Megan is trained in marriage & family therapy but practices as an LPC-S in the State of Texas. Megan’s specialty areas include Marital and Couple counseling, decreasing Toxic Masculinity in Black Men and Women’s Issues specifically those related to High-Achieving Black women and girls. Megan has an extensive history working with clients in various settings (schools, inpatient hospital, correctional).

Megan, a native of Kansas City, Kansas, is an empty nest parent of three adult children. She is a Christian and active in her church. Her personal interests include independent film, music and the documented lives of other people. Megan is the co-founder of the Minority Behavioral Health Provider Networking Group (MBHPN) along with colleague Cynthia Thompson, LPC-S. Megan is the President of TexACMD a division of the Texas Counseling Association and Compliance Officer board member of TACES a division of the Texas Counseling Association.
