I completed psychiatry residency training at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City, where I served as chief resident. Pursuing my interest in medical-legal issues, I completed Fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, where I received extensive exposure to all aspects of psychiatry and the law. Through my studies and training in busiest hospitals in New York, I obtained valuable research experience, and I continue building on strong educational foundation. I have worked at the San Quentin State Prison treating challenging patients in prison system. I joined Genoa Tele-psychiatry in 2016 to additionally provide telemedicine consultations for patients in remote areas throughout California and Ohio. I am strong believer in the mind-body connection, and stay at the forefront of new advances in psychopharmacology.
I am board-certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
