My practicum training was at a residential substance- abuse treatment center in Miami, Florida, as well as at a private practice in Kendall, Florida. I currently hold certifications as Certified Domestic Violence Specialist II, Certified Anger Management Specialist, Employee Assistance Specialist-Clinical, Thinking for a Change Facilitator, Nurturing Parenting Facilitator and Girls Circle Facilitator. My clinical training also includes Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive -Behavior-Therapy in the treatment of substance abuse, trauma, anxiety, problematic sexual behaviors and children’s behavioral problems.
